The big hangar was built by the Americans during wwII. Frame was all oregon. Nails were pulling by 1968 and the occasional light fitting fell down. ENGo's offfice was in the corner front left.

No! it is not the wind tunnel.It is
the old American wartime hangar in
Darwin. It was destroyed by the cyclone in 1975.
It was the largest hangar in Australia.

I could be wrong, but, this hanger looks remarkably like the Wind Tunnel Hanger Clark Air Base Indonesia.. I served at both, Darwin 68-70 and later on exercise in Angeles City, this looks too big to be one of our hangers, is it possible that this may be the Wind Tunnel??
